How to setup Outlook on your Android devices


HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL OUTLOOK APP ON ANDROID DEVICES

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

  2. Search for "Microsoft Outlook" in the Play Store and download the Microsoft Outlook app.

  3. Open the Outlook app after it's installed.

  4. Tap "Get Started" on the welcome screen.

  5. Choose whether or not you want Outlook to send you notifications. If you want to receive notifications, tap "Allow" when prompted.

  6. When prompted to add an email account, tap "Add Account."

  7. Select "Office 365" as the account type.

  8. Enter your "firstname.lastname@nysid.edu" email address and tap "Continue."

  9. Enter your email password and complete any additional authentication steps, such as two-step verification if required.

  10. You may have the option to add another account. If you want to add another account, tap "Add Account," otherwise, tap "Maybe Later" to proceed.

  11. Outlook may provide some introductory screens with helpful information; you can read them or skip them.

  12. Your Office 365 Inbox will then be displayed in the Outlook app on your Android device.
