How to AutoSave Log-In for WIFI on IOS (Images Included)
1. First make sure you have the latest IOS installed on your IPhone
2. Click on settings on your IPhone and then scroll down to “Passwords & Accounts
3. Click on “Websites and App Passwords” (might need your fingerprint or password entered
4. At the top right of your screen, next to Edit, Click on the “+” sign
5. For website: If Downtown (Grad), type: 1.1.1.1 If Uptown (Undergrad) type: 1.1.1.2
6. For Username and password, type in your student ID number and your login password
7. Click Done. Now whenever you attempt to sign on to WIFI, once you click in the login space,
appearing below (above letters) should be a link with a key icon to the right of it, click on it to autofill your information. This will make you avoid having to manually fill in your information each time.
How to AutoSave Log-In for WIFI on Android
Open Settings > System > Languages & Input > Autofill service
- You will see a list of password manager apps, from here you can choose the one you want to access when filling login details automatically
- You can also choose Google autofill from the list to access the details saved in Chrome
- Once enabled, you can go to the webpage of any service and on the login page you will see the option to autofill, just tap on it and your details will be filled automatically
For NYSID WIFI: If Downtown (Grad) type: 1.1.1.1 If Uptown (Undergrad) type: 1.1.1.2
For Username and password, type in your student ID number and your login password
